The BLAC Map Tour Begins at 12 pm at Museum of African Diaspora - Yerba Buena Arts District, San Francisco Ends at 5 pm at BLAQYARD - Fruitvale District, Oakland
The BLAC Map Tour is a guided multi-location experience for arts and culture lovers to explore BLACspace’s ecosystem. Within the tour, participants will join our guide to experience studio visits, photography exhibitions, film screenings, somatic activations, live music, and performances.
The BLAC Map tour begins in San Francisco with MoAD as our meet-up location & ends at BLAQYARD in Oakland’s Fruitvale District. The guided tour includes transportation (from the meet-up location to all tour destinations, including the final stop), beverages, snacks, and dinner.
Some of our tour locations include Minnesota Street Project, B-Love Guest House, Koo Labs Production & Design Studio, BAM House & BLAQYARD. These locations will be activated by artists and culture anchors, including Artist as First Responders, BAMBD CDC, Betti Ono Foundation, Just Be Community, Kingmakers of Oakland, Omnira Institute, 7000 Coils & more.
Explore Oakland's Black creative voices during Art Murmur on Friday, October 2. Galleries will be exhibiting throughout the day, 1pm-8pm. See Gregory Rick at Johansson Projects, William Rhodes at Transmission (1-5pm only), artists at Mighty Mighty Studio, and more to come!
Stop at the street fair while you're in the area, held on the First Friday of every month from 5–9 PM along Telegraph Avenue (22nd to 27th Streets).
