About me
Khalifah, as he is more commonly known, has been an Oakland based educator for over twenty years; including as a K-5 technologist and an African American Male Achievement facilitator. In addition to his role as an Agency by Design Oakland lead designer and facilitator, he is also a Lead Coach with OUSD's New Teacher Support and Development department.
One of his facilitation strengths is taking something that could be abstract/complex and making it concrete through stories, songs, analogies, etc. to make the learning goal both accessible and memorable.
teaching in Oakland for over twenty years now and in OUSD since 2014 in various capacities, primarily as an upper grade elementary school teacher, K-5 technology and an African American Male Achievement facilitator. I am currently a Lead Coach with New Teacher Support and Development and facilitator for AbDO.
