About me
Tachiya Bryant is a multimedia artist born and raised in the Bay Area. She works primarily
through acrylic paint, collage, and sculpture. Tachiya also utilizes digital media, illustration,
and photography in her art practice. This fluidity with medium allows her to find ways to
explore subject matter. As an emerging professional artist, her subject matter heavily
focuses on cultural matters, social and family dynamics, mental health, archival work, and
the black experience. She has worked with numerous galleries and arts institutions such as
Mercury20, Works San Jose, Palo Alto Arts Center, and NuMu Los Gatos.
